Your Delegate & Their Guide… Every Chapter in good standing belonging to the Canadian Council of the Blind, BC-Yukon Division is eligible to send a delegate. Your delegate’s National and Division membership dues must be up to date. A delegate is able to bring a guide if necessary. Delegates will be responsible for one hotel night, partial transportation, travel meals, dinner on April 18th and lunch on April 19th. The CCB BC-Yukon Division will be responsible for two hotel nights; lunch on April 18th; and the wind-up dinner April 19th; and the hotel provides a complimentary hot breakfast. If necessary further assistance is available upon request for costs covered by the delegate and their guide.
Other Members or Non-Members… Please be aware other members and non-members are welcome to attend our AGM & Workshops; and are responsible for their own expenses; and will need to fill out an Attendee Form in order to receive group hotel rates and attend meals on April 18th and 19th.
Attendee Form 2023… The Attendee Form is attached and will need to be filled out for each person planning to attend the AGM and emailed to:
ccbbc-yukondivision@telus.net or filled out over the phone by March 10th; and a cheque covering expenses will need to be mailed before March 31st to the Division PO Box address or arrange to send an e-transfer to ccbbc-yukondivision@telus.net.
Division’s Current Covid Practice… Protocol is attached and any updates will be sent to all attendees.
Transportation… This year Chapters will be responsible for 50 per cent of the travel costs and all travel meals of their delegate and Guide. Receipts will need to be provided for reimbursement unless special arrangements have been made with the Division Office. Please let us know if your Chapter needs further assistance.
Accommodation Costs… Please note that delegates are expected to share a room with their guide; and delegates who do not bring a guide will be expected to share a room with another delegate, unless that delegate is willing to pay 50% of the total hotel room charge for two nights plus 100% for one night. Check in time is 4:00 PM and check out time is 11:00 AM.

Meals… The hotel provides a hot breakfast buffet for their hotel guests. There will be no cost to attend Monday’s Meet ‘N Greet, Tuesday’s lunch or Wednesday’s wind-up dinner. There may be some menu choices once we know who is attending. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions as soon as possible.
