To CCB BC-Yukon Division Members and friends,
Hello, the Division’s next Call In Session is Thursday March 25th at 10:00 AM, where David Brun from Gateway Navigation will be giving us an update. Gateway Navigation is based in North Vancouver and was founded in 2017. Their objective is to create a more accessible and inclusive world through applying human centred design in the use of accessible ABN networks in interior and exterior spaces. Creating an accessible wayfinding assessment. Mapping the venue’s architectural elements, including auditory, tactile, high contrast and environmental features. Supporting inclusive wayfinding systems and universal design concepts. Starting at public transit or drop-off pick up points to the desired arrival point of a journey. This assessment becomes the basis for potential audio-based navigation network solutions.
And remember our next Division Call In is Thursday April 1st at 10:00 AM, an open/;sharing session giving you the opportunity to speak your mind; and maybe you have a favourite April Fool’s story to tell?.
Contact the email address below to RSVP and someone will send you the information for connecting to our sessions,
or you can now ask us to dial you into the meeting – to let us know, send an email message asking to be dialed in, and to receive email notifications of upcoming meetings,
Looking forward to hearing you all soon.
