This year we are inviting those on site by 1:30 PM on April 20th to join the “All About BC Gaming” Workshop – how BC Gaming works facilitated by Geraldine Foster;
and to join us on April 21st for “Breakfast With Dr. Glen Hoar…” – an ophthalmic physician and surgeon talking shop with us over breakfast;
“Exploring Community Connections” Workshop – hosted by Jeff Crisp, an opportunity to experience the Comox Valley – including singing, wine, picnicking and more…;
and “More Community Connections” Open House – an opportunity for you and the public to learn more about the CCB and what it offers – from sports & recreation to technology – and some enterprising members – beadwork to coffee – and community/personal choices available in the Comox Valley – service clubs to cannabis – and much more!
Your Delegate & their Guide
Every Chapter in good standing belonging to the Canadian Council of the Blind, BC-Yukon Division is eligible to send a delegate. Your delegate’s National and Division membership dues must be up to date. A delegate is able to bring a guide if necessary.
Delegates will be responsible for one hotel night, partial transportation, travel meals and breakfast on April 22nd and 23rd.
The CCB BC-Yukon Division will be responsible for two hotel nights; breakfast, lunch and dinner on April 21st; and lunch and the banquet on April 22nd.
If necessary assistance may be available upon request for costs covered by the delegate and their guide.
Other Members or Non-Members
Please be aware other members and non-members are welcome to attend our AGM and are responsible for their own expenses; and will need to fill out an Attendee Form in order to receive group hotel rates and attend meals on April 21st and 22nd.

The Attendee Form is attached (click on the link) and will need to be filled out for each person planning to attend the AGM and emailed to:
Or filled out over the phone by February 29th; and a cheque covering expenses will need to be mailed before March 31st to the Division PO Box address.
This year Chapters will be responsible for 50 per cent of the travel costs and all travel meals of their delegate and Guide. Receipts will need to be provided for reimbursement unless special arrangements have been made with the Division Office. Please let us know if your Chapter needs assistance.
Please note that delegates are expected to share a room with their guide; and delegates who do not bring a guide will be expected to share a room with another delegate, unless that delegate is willing to pay 50% of the total hotel room charge for two nights plus 100% for one night.
Check in time is 3:00 PM and check out time is 11:00 AM.

$75 per night for each person
* Single Occupancy
1 night @$150 and $75 for 2 nights, totaling $300

There will be no costs for Tuesday’s breakfast or lunch and Wednesday’s lunch; Tuesday’s dinner will cost $20;
and Wednesday’s banquet will cost $30 for non-delegates.
There will be no charge to delegates and their guides.
There may be some menu choices once we know who is attending.
