Canadian Accessibility Guidelines Survey
A committee has been organized through the Canadian Institute of
Transportation Engineers that has been tasked with reviewing accessibility
guidelines published by various levels of government across Canada.
As a result, a survey has been designed to provide the committee with
feedback in regards to the following:
* * the ease in which people with disabilities use the public
* * the guidelines and standards currently used by Canadian road
authorities that address the provision of accessible public infrastructure
in the public right-of-way
Your participation and feedback will assist with the development of
uniform accessibility guidelines across Canada.
You can access the survey by visiting:
Completion of the survey is requested by February 24, 2017. We suggest
you complete it today rather than putting it off until later.
